Customer Service Representative

Stihl Southwest (located in Malvern, AR) is seeking a new person for our customer service team. For more than 50 years, we’ve been a wholesale distributor selling STIHL outdoor power equipment to retail dealers in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and east Texas. This is a full-time position that includes a wide array of tasks including taking incoming calls from our customers, keying orders, assisting our customers on the phone, and answering questions in areas such as pricing and parts-lookup. We need someone with fast and accurate keyboarding and 10-key skills, and they must be able to key orders while talking to customers on the phone. This job also requires excellent multi-tasking skills and a great memory since it is common to have multiple things going on at the same time. We are looking for a person with excellent attendance and telephone skills including good verbal and listening skills. We prefer a bookkeeping background, previous work experience in a similar position and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. New team members must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19. Accounts Receivable Clerk

Stihl Southwest (located in Malvern, AR) is seeking a new person to handle Accounts Receivable. For more than 50 years, we’ve been a wholesale distributor selling STIHL outdoor power equipment to retail dealers in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and east Texas. This is a full-time position with primary responsibility for receiving payments via check and online, posting customer payments, producing statements and working with customers on past due balances. We prefer someone with experience in A/R and need someone who is skilled in dealing with customers who get behind on their payments. Although the A/R responsibilities are primary, this person will also be part of our customer service team. A description for that job is above. When not handling A/R responsibilities, our A/R person will also key orders for our customers and handle other administrative tasks along with the rest of the customer service team. We prefer a background in banking, bookkeeping or accounting, previous work experience in a similar position and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
